First February Currently

Is anyone as shocked as I am that itʻs February already? No? OK. Well, today Iʻm linking up with Anne and Jenna & letting yʻall know whatʻs been going on around here.

Currently...

Sending...Valentineʻs Day Cards from Honey to all of her cousins and aunts and uncles. Iʻve got lots of cousins who are significantly younger than me (plus a brother who is 14 years younger than me) so sheʻs got loads of people to send Valentines to! I thought that would be a fun way to celebrate the holiday.

Eating...These ʻNut Exactly Snack Bitesʻ that we recently picked up from Costco. Itʻs pistachio popcorn dipped in dark chocolate and they are freaking delicious! Theyʻre basically all I ever want to eat...ever.

Dreaming...
about the books that Iʻm reading. Does anyone else dream about the books they read as often as I do? I swear, itʻs like my brain wants to make these books into movies while Iʻm asleep. Iʻm totally cool with that because YAY book movies! but when the dreams are about aliens and crazy things because Iʻm currently reading Welcome to Night Vale it can get a little crazy.

Smelling...the sweet smell of lavender baby wash/lotion. Iʻve only ever used lavender scented bath products on the kid before bedtime. It helps her relax  and she knows that once the lavender comes out, itʻs time for bed! And it helps me relax, too. In fact Iʻm getting real sleepy while typing this out...

Hearting...Aaron Tveit as Danny Zuko. I had to like consciously stop myself from writing that in all caps because thatʻs how much I love him...seriously.I mean, Iʻve loved in before when he was on Broadway and when he played Roger in a production of Rent at the Hollywood Bowl (click the link, you wonʻt regret it) and when he was on Gossip Girl and when he played Enjolras in Les Miserables. I JUST LOVE AARON TVEIT, OKAY? Sorry...couldnʻt help the caps. But seriously, Aaron as Danny Zuko was perfect. See:

Iʻm sure many people doubted him because he looks like more of a pretty boy than what Danny is, but itʻs a testament to his acting chops that he not only pulled off Danny but NAILED him. Ok, really...Iʻm done now. Fangirl moment over.

Did you watch Grease Live yet? If so, did you enjoy it? With all the hype about live TV productions of plays and musicals, I think this is going to be a trend that sticks so what play or musical would you like to see as a Live TV production next?
