My favorite book when ...That's a lot of books! My favorite book when I was little was The Monster at the End of This Book. I loved it and my mom must have read it to me almost every night, poor thing. And bless her heart, she always did a great job with the inflection and voice. The book is narrated by Grover of Sesame Street, and he's afraid for the pages of the book to be turned because the title says there is a monster at the end of the book, so he goes to all kinds of elaborate schemes to keep you from turning the pages and then gets really upset when you turn the page anyway. It's so cute and funny. I saw it at Barnes & Noble the other day, so I know it's still in print. You should look for it if you don't have it already. I think it was with the Little Golden Books. I also really liked Alexander and the Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. "Grover", as I called it, was definitely my favorite though. Glad you're reading to your baby already! I wish everybody read to their children! Thanks for visiting my blog! The book...That's quite the collection of books! The books I fondly remember from my childhood are Roald Dahl's - although your little one is a bit young for those yet eh. Toddler and I enjoy reading Julia Donaldson's books.

The Day Zero project sounds fun... If a little daunting. I hope you have with that as a family :-)Reading with Jadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00776146295033934487noreply@blogger.com
